Ghost of Thornton Hall

Today is the day! Ghost of Thornton Hall has officially released! Check your local store to find it on shelves, or order the game from our site! In my opinion, it's one of the best Nancy Drew games ever, so I highly recommend playing this one. (~.^)

FYI: We also launched the preview video for ND#29 to our YouTube Channel today. If you'd like to see what the next game is, watch it here. (Spoiler!) Don't worry, it will be a while before I start talking about this next game, so you have some time to finish GTH and see the preview for yourself if you wish.

We've got some more birthdays!

To be perfectly honest, I'm not sure how I feel about the new game... I've been thinking about it since I saw the preview a few days ago, and I just can't decide whether I hate or love that it strays a bit (more like a lot) from the books. I'm not going to give anything away for those who want it to be a surprise, but when you see it you'll understand why us lovers of the classics are a bit hesitant about jumping on board for this one... I think I'm just concerned about the designers' abilities to capture the right atmosphere for this new twist without destroying the original tone. It could turn out fantastic, but... I'm not sure yet. I will wait to pass judgement until the trailer comes out.

Yay!!:D So happy for you guys! Ya'll deserve a week's vacation for all the hard work you put into GTH.

I never really expected the subject in ND29 to ever be put into a game! I sat there with my mouth hanging open for 5 minutes! ;D I had to watch it again to make sure I heard right. lol

May is a popular month for birthdays:) Happy birthday Heidi Joe and Natalie!

Just wanted to say that I loved the menu you can find in GTH, you totally nailed the sweet tea, grits and fried okra. My mom loves that stuff, I prefer fried squash. If you've never had iced sweet tea or grits, you really should try it sometime. :)

Yes! I've finished my game. It was one of the best yet. Tell me, was White Wolf of Icicle Creek a good game?

Okay, LJ, question. What happened to the events seen in the last several seconds in the trailer before the title?

So I had to watch the video for 29,and oh mu gosh! There are no words for how I feel. I do have a question though. I haven't read all the Nancy Drew books yet,so if there's one that mentions her mother,or what happened to her,can you tell me which one so I can read it. If there isn't one,I'll know you guys are just doin' your own thing with the game, and not going off a book as you've done several times. I hope you read this and get back to me. Thanks.

From me,
Silvertongue.

I'm in the middle of it now...Clara is my favorite! She seems to care about me...uh, Nancy...and even if she's rough around the edges...I really like her. She seems to be the only REAL character. Colton bores me to death...and frankly, I'm scared of Wade. Harper is kind of interesting, but also weird. Don't have a complete reading on her yet! :)

@Rachel Nicole -- Glad you enjoyed it! What was it about the ending that you didn't like?

@Anonymous -- It's ok to be wary about the next game. :) There wasn't very much information presented in the preview, so it may be tough to decide whether the game will be fun to play or not.

The topic is an emotional one and our design team is being careful with how it is handled. However, I would suggest trying to look up more information on this key character in Nancy's life, there really isn't much there, and that leaves room for open minds. ;)

@Lee -- If you like cooking food and snooping through people's stuff, you may love White Wolf of Icicle Creek! ;)

@Anonymous -- Are you referring to the ghost walking toward you at the end of the trailer? That is a scare scene in the game that may or may not happen depending on how you play. (~.^)
