Otters!

Yep, we crazies at Her Interactive get excited about little things, except this was big to us: Otter sighting!! Yesterday afternoon someone looked out the window and called out for those us working late (guilty me) to come to see the excitement. Here's what we saw by the river:
Mama otter (on the right) and her two babies were rolling around getting a dust bath. They would toss and turn in that mound of dirt until the mama and one baby decided to return to the water. The second baby hung out for a bit longer, his face was so cute when he stopped to realize he was all alone. (He soon returned to the water where was was rejoined with the family).

I'm thinking we should have otters in a game. We've had pesky squirrels (more than once), cute fish and an Orca whale, iguana, two parrots, several dogs, a real cat and a robotic cat, horses, mice, prairie dogs, snakes, spiders, hornets, an alligator, vervet monkeys... hmm, am I missing anymore? Otters are too adorable, I wonder how we could work one into the story...

Where is your office located that you are able to see otters?

From me,
Silvertongue.

P.S.I've only seen about half the animals you mentioned.guess I've got quite a few more games to play ;P

Our office is at the edge of the city, up against the swamp-like river that snakes around the back of our building. Lots of trees, and often sightings of otter and all sorts of birds (especially Canadian Geese).

Oh yes, the wasps and pigeons from VEN, bug critters and birds from DOG...

my cats r totally ND worthy. they loved the robotic cat, i tried to teach them the commands in japanese (im a quarter japanese) and i think what my cat said bk was, "Mama i speak the language of people-food. wheres the gumbo?" not 100 on that tho. everytime i play an ND game i hungry for the food n have to make something similar. herinteractive should publish a cookbook w the recipies in all the games! yum!

my cats (named SamSpade and Phillip Marlowe) r totally nancy drew worthy. they loved the robotic "niaow"ing cat and when i tried to teach them the commands in japanese (im 1/4th japanese, figures they should learn), spade looked at me and i think he said "Mama, i speak the language of people-food. only. wheres the gumbo?" we both get hungry while playing nd for the food in the game. speaking of which we need a herinteractive nd cookbook w all the recipies from the games! would b awesome!
keep sleuthing little otters!
