On Your Marks!

There are so many ways fans of Nancy Drew games can get ready in their excitement for the next game. One thing that hard core fans do, is pay super close attention to detail when we post content and when we reveal new things about the next game. Then they discuss it on the Message Boards, where our community is.

Another great way to get ready, is to have a Nancy Drew game marathon. I see several members on the boards participate in these. If you are missing any Nancy Drew game, now is a grand time to play it before the latest mystery arrives. (Might I recommend WAC, TMB, and VEN?) Each of those titles have similarities or references to The Silent Spy....some obscure, some direct. And WAC and SCKR digital games are still on sale for 50% off until Friday. For the new fans getting ready for The Silent Spy, I'd recommend following us on our social channels (see list of links to your right on this blog) and subscribing to our newsletter to get the latest news, like when to pre-order!

And for everyone, we posted these two shots below from the game on our screenshots page here.

Speaking of preparing for the next game, a few of us in the office secretly met to get ready for the next-next game, #30. That's right, we have already begun creation for the game you get to play next spring/summer of 2014!

Hey! My friend's birthday is today! Could you post a shout out for her? Her name is Ivy. She's a huge Nancy Drew fan and she's obsessed with Jane Penvellyn's guinea pig. :) Thanks!

GAAAAAAAAH Im just SOOOO excited for this game. Combat training!!?!!? Gadgets?!??!!? I'm going to play through that marathon again XD Im just so excited!
Is that training place the little building in the bottom left corner of the cover art!?!?!?!
Begging Edits for Trailer's Draft NOW?!?!?! The only game I may have been more excited for is Ghost of Thornton Hall, but this game can definitely rival excitement wise, Oh release that trailer soon, before I pop with excitement O_O XD DX
I wonder if we get an option, if we like break into different places, to knock guards out and tie them up? That would explain the combat training, and be very spy like. I have so many theories I cant put them all XDDDDD

Hello LJ! I hope all is well at her interactive! The screen shot descriptions mention loch lommond. Well anyways, I just finished the 'clue of the bagpipes' nancy drew book and in the book it mentioned loch lommond! Was the book an inspiration for the SPY game?

I found your secret message in the post, LJ! Woo-hoo! Beginning edits for trailer's draft now! And those screenshots are awesome! So excited for SPY! And I was wondering if maybe I could have a birthday shout-out tomorrow, the 6th for my Aunt Karen? (sorry LJ i would have mentioned it earlier but i completely forgot!) She's never actually played a Nancy Drew game but she loves the books and she was the one that actually got me started on Nancy Drew in the first place! So if you could do one for her that would be awesome! (think you could maybe do something with a magnifying glass? that would be super-awesome!) Thank you sooooo much LJ!

On Tumblr, several members have participated in a challenge, myself included. You should take a look! It's pretty cool looking on the tag.

"Beginning edits for trailer. Drafts now." Oh my word, yay! Can't wait to see it. And hey, L.J. did you also say that ASH was another game to play as well for a marathon? And wasn't game #30 from that Nancy Drew contest on where she would want to go, and that was from The Deadly Device? That means that she's going to NEW ZEALAND! Oh gosh, even more excited than ever. xx

I graduate from High School in somewhere around spring or summer 2014 so game #30 would be an awesome graduation gift or something :)

I am so excited for The Silent Spy! I hope it would be so awesome! When are you going to reveal the characters for SPY? I hope Samantha Quick is in this game!

Also, speaking of, I heard there was a 3rd Easter Egg in The Phantom of Venice and then HeR decided not to do the third one at the last minute as I presume. Do you know why and how would you get it if you kept the third Easter egg in the game?

Oh and I am re-playing VEN right now! Also, I am going to play WAC and then TMB. Maybe I'll find some possible connections to SPY...

@Amy M.-
What?!?!!? A third easter egg in VEN?!?!?! I wish I knew how to find it! VEN is my #1 fave and my most-played one probably :D I'm just getting ready to play VEN too! (for the marathon) I played WAC late August, I'm going to play VEN really really soon, and in October (before the 22nd) I'm going to play ASH (LJ mentioned that one for the marathon too) I don't have TMB so I won't play that one but the other 3 definitely! :D

I can't talk on the message board but me and my bf really love nd games and well he asked me once if there was a game set in his country (this is kind of new to him) and was really disappointed when I said no. since I have been thinking about it and wondering how cool it would be, he lives in Chile which is a place that really doesn't get that much attention I think, it would be really cool to see what would happen in a game set there.
