Spiders on the Desk

I was minding my own business, I promise, when something moved in the corner of my eye. I jumped a little when I finally noticed the little spider crawling passed my left hand up to the phone cord, and paused long enough for me to rescue my nearby phone and snap a photo.

I don't know about you, but I'm not a fan of spiders being indoors, let alone near me. These guys sneak in every now and then, along with bees in the summer and other little insects. One time our Sales Manager nearly tore up her desk getting away from a flying beetle buzzing around...we took it out with spray cleaner. Another time our Director of Sales screamed out as a spider scurried over her computer keyboard next to her fingers. (>.<) Horrific!

I may be complaining here, but I wish that the cute otters outside (that swam by today), or the beaver down the river would come and pay us some regular visits to our office....rather than little critters...like today's spider. XD

I'm not a violent person until I see a spider. Then I want it dead, it's family dead and it's house burned to the ground! Lol, jk, Spiders do scare me though!

Eeek! I'd like for the creepy crawlies to stay outside too:P I'm not a fan of spiders or beetle like creatures. *Shivers*

Just finished watching Disney's Brave with my family, and if you ask me, that's a good way to start our trip to Disney! :D We're going to be headed down there tomorrow! And what did I put on my computer for the trip? TMB and DED of course:)I'll hug Mickey for you!!

Look on the bright side, LJ - at least it wasn't a cockroach! Or an ant looking for graham cracker cookie crumbs... ;)

Maybe if you tell the beavers and otters that they can get free games from the company, they'd show up! I certainly would! :D

Hmmm... your post about spiders makes me think you're just hinting to GTH again.

Great work by the way, if I see a spider I either run or freeze. The last thing I do is reach for my camera. You're very talented to get such a great picture! LOL

I know everyone is scared of something. But really? Spiders? I thought even Her Interactive employees weren't scared of a mouse. xD
Kind of defeats the purpose in TOT when Nancy cries out and says "I did not sign up for mice." >.> I really do remember Her Interactive's motto for Nancy Drew. "Not afraid of a mouse," or something similar.

I agree completely. Try these on for size: We have like a trap door to the pipes in our kitchen ceiling. A wolf spider fell on my Dad from the ceiling and landed on the floor. Yes,I screamed as it came for me.

Some other time He still says it was a spider:As my Dad was lying in bed, something big landed on his chest and then took off. He tore the bed apart but never found it.

From me,

AH! I hate spiders, they're so scary! I don't like anything with such an unnatural number of legs... And fangs. Don't forget the fangs. CREEEEEEPY! And come on, who among the human race is brave enough to be totally comfortable with spiders? Stop hating, people. In any case, they are MUCH scarier than mice. I have had bad experiences with them. I swear, they are EVIL. One time, when I was really little, I woke up in the middle of a night and there was a spider dangling from the ceiling right near my head. You have no idea how loud I screamed after that (>.<)
