No one is ever too old for Nancy Drew! I often see fans admit their age and then feel guilty for being a Nancy Drew fan. It's like they think they are too old for Nancy Drew or something, or that the Nancy Drew games are for young girls.
I beg to differ. :)
Our games are rated E or E10+ because they are "appropriate" for all ages to view, and when we put "for ages 10 and up" on the box it's because of the difficulty level, not because it is meant only for teenagers.
We try to appeal to the general Nancy Drew fan, trying our very best to stay true to the qualities of Nancy from the 1930s as well as keep Nancy updated and fun for today. Nancy Drew is not limited to players' ages. Many moms and grandmothers grew up with Nancy Drew books, and now their daughters are playing the games. These daughters are many different ages. However, you may be amazed at how old a majority of our players are!
I'm seeing waaaaay more fans in the age range of 20-30-years-old than another age group of fans. (This range includes me, too.) They are everywhere; on Facebook, the message boards, Twitter, Tumblr, Pinterest, emails, and also among people around me!
This makes me proud to be a Nancy Drew fan! These ladies (and men) know how much fun and challenging the games are, how rich the story and characters are, and they won't stop playing because they may think that Nancy is for little kids. GO FANS!! Playing as Nancy Drew is totally fun! Nothing stops us from solving a mystery!

Right on, LJ! So true! I personally am still a kid, but my aunt, who's much older lol (but not too old! :) she introduced me to Nancy! And I am eternally grateful :) I've been reading the books for going on 3-4 years now, but I've been playing the games for going on 2 full years :) My first game was ASH, which I got for my birthday in 2012. (BTW, awesome game for those who haven't played it! I especially love dusting for fingerprints ;) Go Nancy Drew!
Thank you so much for posting this, LJ! I'm in that 20-30 range like many other ND fans, and so this post really made me smile! :D

I have been playing the games with my sister since the original secrets can kill was released and the games had to be ordered online. I am 26 now and she is 23. Nancy drew is now a part of our lives and we will never stop playing. We feel like the games have grown with us. We've watched as the graphics have improved and the puzzles have increased in difficulty. Nancy Drew and Her Interactive fans for life!

Go Nancy Drew Fans!!!!
I remember finding the Nancy Drew games when they were already on #3 I think. I was in my 20's, I am now 31 and I still love playing them. When I see a new game announcement I get super excited!! I plan on passing them on to my niece when she gets older, along with my book collection!!
From this post, I'm getting the feeling that some previous people are going to show up. Or somethings... Just sayin' ;)
I remember playing my first Nancy Drew game at like 10. It was Nancy Drew: Message in a Haunted Mansion. My mom and I played it through together as I was still to young at the time to really get some of the puzzles and it was a great bonding thing for us. Now here I am, 21 years old and still sit on the edge of my chair and wait for the new games to come out. I love ND!
I completely agree with you, LJ. No one is too old for Nancy Drew.
