Haunted Eggs!

It's a new week and we have a new intern here in the Her Interactive office! Maybe we will get to hear from her later after she learns all of the company secrets. ;)

There has been a development in the egg mystery. Unfortunately I have made no progress except to eliminate a few suspects who were out of town and therefore could not have placed A FULL DOZEN set of eggs in my drawer! Ahh! That was super cool. Here's all that I know:

- There was no red stamp on these white chicken eggs
- They were raw, I know because one was cracked just enough to tell
- They were room temperature, so they had to have been there a while, perhaps over the weekend
- Larry, our IT genius whose office is two cubes down from me and arrives super early, did not see anything suspicious today
- it could not have been our Designer and Lead Tester who were both out of state this weekend
- Our CEO and Megan were in Saturday filming something
- Our creative director 100% denies putting any eggs, chocolate or real, ever in my drawer
- This culprit knows when I arrive and leave

The creepiest thing that happened today was that when our intern opened her desk drawer (which I checked last Friday and was empty) she informed me that there was a Koko Kringle colored egg in there. I rushed over and was stunned to see the exact egg I had colored! This was my first egg I mentioned from a couple of weeks ago and had thrown away. Who fished it out of the trash only to re-plant it today? It must be a haunted egg! Your thoughts?

I'll post the weekend puzzle solution tomorrow...I need to think about this egg mystery. >.<

Lucky intern! ;)
Woah, this mystery is getting better and better. Hmmm, tough case. I'm going to go re read the other posts about the mystery and see if I can come to a conclusion. Probably won't, but hey, might as well try!
Little did you know that mentioning your thought on a Jackalope Easter Egg would bring this! :)

Did someone try to pull a prank on you??
I mean, it's creepy.

In my opinion, the culprit didn't put the raw eggs in, early in the morning. But instead, they put it in when you went home and leave the office.

That way, the culprit doesn't need to bother waking up early and just waited for you to discover the raw eggs.
This can also make a perfect alibi for the culprit since when they came late, you'll check them off from the suspect list.

Hope it helps!!!

Maybe you should pay more attention to your intern. She may have put the egg in her own drawer to throw another curve at your mystery.Nancy deals with this alot. She'll be on the track of someone, when someone else, completely unrelated to the case does something to throw her off.Be careful Little J.

Hey Little Jackalope,
I have some pictures I'd like to send you but I'm not sure what e-mail I could send them to so you can see them. What do you suggest??

From me,
Silvertongue.

Have you ever thought that people who come early could be a suspect or even the culprit, because they could be lying about not seeing anybody early??? Because it could be them all along!!!!

If these were raw eggs, and the perp put them in after she left on Friday, then they would spoil, wouldn't they? Because normally raw eggs are put in the fridge... just wanted to point that out.

@Silvertongue -- I don't really suspect our intern, since she only just arrived and the egg mystery has been going on for a couple of weeks. Still, I shall keep my eye on her!

Also, if you'd like to send pictures, send them to feedback@herinteractive.com.

@That Fenrick Character -- you know, I have been wondering about Megan and our CEO..it's quite possible that there are multiple culprits!

@Anonymous -- The eggs didn't smell bad, but I definitely don't trust eating them if I found them at room temperature.
