Today our luncheoning group went out to try a fancy lunch at a nearby restaurant, which served a three-course meal. I just wanted to point out that these adventurous outings are good for a person, especially when that person has never tried a crème brûlée. I tried it for the first time, and I loved it! For those who aren't sure exactly what this dessert is, it's pretty much vanilla pudding in a cute little cup that they sprinkle sugar on top and lightly blow-torch so that it turns into a light shell crust. Also known as caramelizing. The torched sugar tasted like a perfectly browned outside part of a toasted marshmallow. Yum!
Lookie! When we returned from our long lunch outing, these had arrived!
The 100 Charlotte Masks! On or after May 17th, we will be picking 100 random winners from everyone who pre-ordered Ghost of Thornton Hall (physical or digital) from our site before May 14th. I still need to figure out how to swipe one of these for myself... (~.^)

Collecting info on GTH
So I'm trying to write this post really fast so that I can get back to playing through Ghost of Thornton Hall...again...
This time, I'm not preparing for ratings materials, rather I am collecting information. Here's the list I'm starting...as you can see, I haven't written anything yet. :P
Today our CEO brought in doughnuts again (thank you!!). I have to highlight this because it's always worth admiring:
Speaking of highlighting...you may want to start paying attention to blank areas of the posts. I've already hidden some messages. ;)

Cupcakes From a Fan
Today one of our fans, Miriam, got to visit and learn more about how we rock and roll here at Her Interactive. She got to tour and visit with several team members to learn a little from each department, as part of her school requirement to graduate. She immediately became friends with everyone in the office when she brought in something chocolaty: CUPCAKES!!!
But not just any cupcakes! These were inspired by...can you guess? The three pies in Secret of the Old Clock! Using candy as the "fruit", she even included miniature "pies" on top of several...reference to the different sized pies you had to organize in the game. They were amazing. Simply amazing. I <3 them.
As for the weekend puzzle, if you are familiar with ciphers, you might recognize this one as the [Playfair cipher], a rather tricky one if you are doing it by hand. Once you use the keyword to create your alphabet grid (omitting the Q), you pair up the letters in the puzzle accordingly and find this answer: [New Merchandise] which is what is it is. Yay! New stuff!

Weekend Puzzle #152
We have some exciting things going on next week that we are preparing for right now! The weekend puzzle answer contains one little secret of the excitement. ;)
Today I brought in an attempted creation of a Koko Kringle-themed cupcake. A chocolate cupcake with red frosting and chocolate crispy candy inside and on top of the cupcake. It's...interesting. It's also one of our employee's birthday today. Happy Birthday!!
Weekend puzzle! Good luck sleuths!

Some of you found the clue hinting to today's special: Alibi in Ashes screen shots have been released!! Check them out and learn more about River Heights and the game on our screen shots page. This one's my favorite:
This is a day for more treats here in the office. Today we celebrated two of our artist's wedding by having red velvet cake and cheesecake, yum! (And congrats to the awesome happy couple!!)
I've got a few more pictures to share with tomorrow, when the weekend puzzle goes up. Stay tuned!

Captive Curse is holding me captive.
That's the excuse for a late post today. We've been super busy preparing for the pre-orders that begin tomorrow for The Captive Curse! Whoo-hoo! If you order early you will receive the special edition with extra bonus content. Yep, we are excited for it. This is how we celebrate: Cupcakes and dessert! Yum!

Congrats to all of the super sleuths who solved this weekend's puzzle! Here's how it's done:
1. The first letters are the ones you want to work with (arrange)
2. The second set of letters represent [the abbreviations of weekdays in German]
2. Align the [weekdays in order] according to the last number.
You get: [Watch the hilarious extra outtakes!] Referring to the [special edition games]. Which are pretty fun and enjoyable, believe me. ;)
Until tomorrow!
