Summer Fun at Her Interactive

It feels like I haven't written a blog post in forever! Technically only a week, as we enjoyed our Independence Day weekend out and about and families and friends. Although yesterday I got sick. Eh.

Summer here at Her Interactive can be quite fun! We play hackysack together outside more often, ice cream trucks come by, food trucks come each week....well does that sound like all the fun a person can have at school, or what?

All break-time fun aside, we are currently working on the next Nancy Drew game. The art team has already finished a good portion of the environments, the production team is working on new puzzles, and the design team is coordinating with our music composer for the soundtrack. I can't say any more than that until later!

The biggest news for us at the moment is our new addition to our store: the new Nancy Drew Diaries books! This is a new series with a new style for Nancy Drew. I've already personally read the first two, and I'm just beginning the third one: Mystery of the Midnight Rider.

I get excited when we get to add new Nancy Drew stuff to our store! Games, Strategy Guides, Soundtracks, Merchandise, and now Books! Soon enough you won't have to look anywhere else to find your Nancy Drew items to add to your collection. Speaking of merchandise...I might as well spill the beans...the weekend puzzle from two weekends ago (#202 found here) was referring to something specific. And I don't just mean the clock from the cover of Secret of the Old Clock or that inside that game was a trivet.

Distraction! Do you know what a trivet is? Although in the game it held a clue in the decoration, a trivet is a fancy platter that is meant to hold hot plates and dishes, like tea pots and glass cake pans.

Now where was I going with this again....?
