We have updated our message boards! It has been years (like...7 or 8 years) since they have been really updated, and it needed it. Especially in the back end, which none of you see, and it is mostly for technical specifications. That being said, there are some changes that do affect you all in the front end.
We posted a thread in message boards here about the details of the changes. If we missed anything, we will add the info to that post, so check back later if you are confused about something. Also, you can always ask question in the Message Board Questions forum, where other members can help answer your questions.
On to the fun! We posted this Nancy Drew moment today. For those of you played Treasure in the Royal Tower, you may have encountered a dead end where Nancy says "Hello there dead-end! My name's Nancy Drew", which I found hilarious.
Twitter Quote contest is today! Head over for a chance to win a digital guide!

I'm not sure I've done this one yet, but I might have, since I talk to inanimate objects a lot :)
I really like the new changes, though it is weird and a little disorienting. Hopefully it won't take too long to get used to them.
Haha, yeaaah. I love that quote! I've been known to say that in real life too... total Nancy Drew freak over here! O_o LOL
so after a few years of Nancy neglect, at the ripe old age of 22, I decided to download Alibi in Ashes last night & finished it in one sitting -happy to find out I've still got it. The one thing that hasn't changed with age is how ridiculously/embarrassingly scared I get while solving certain cases (I blame Nancy for about 2/3 of my childhood anxiety). Do you have any sort of post that break up the Nancy games into sub-categories? I've noticed some are adventure-y or paranormal (cue the nightmares), but my favorites are Alibi in Ashes, Venice, Deception Island & Danger by Design..which all have a different feel from the other games. Now that I'm re-hooked on Nancy, what game would you suggest getting next? I stopped playing after I completed Venice so anything after that is brand new territory to me!
(sorry this doesn't have to do with message boards but finding your blog was what got me back into Nancy Drew)
Wow. It's neat Treasure in the Royal Tower won ND Madness. My top four picks were:
Phantom of Venice
Treasure in the Royal Tower
Alibi in Ashes
The Deadly Device
It would be hard for me to pick one game, but all in all TRT is a great game and deserved to win.
Are you guys going to release more about MED soon? And when is more going to be released? I'm dying of curiosity.
@Diana- If you're going for a more 'adventure-y' feel, and not spooky, out of the older games, I'd most highly recommend Secret of Shadow Ranch, that's a really great game! Creature of Kapu Cave is a pretty decent game too... as is Ransom of the Seven Ships. (About RAN though... there is a spoiler in that game for one of the older games... be sure to have played game #2 FIRST which is also a great game ;) For the newer games, I'd recommend Trail of the Twister for a highly educational game on meteorology. (I mean, mammatus clouds? Not even spell check knows what those are! LOL) Or if you're going for a more 'mysterious' feel, still without being that creepy, out of the newer games, The Deadly Device is the way to go. Warnings at Waverly Academy is also a great one! Out of all of the aforementioned, the two I would personally recommend the most are The Secret of Shadow Ranch & The Deadly Device. Hope I helped! :D
