In the pictures below, Sonny and I went to the Old Town in San Diego, where we stumbled upon some old buildings. Two small wood buildings side-by-side had once been an old drug store and general store. Now, one building is a kitchen and the other is a dining room as the Creole New Orleans restaurant.
We ordered a bowl of gumbo and a bowl of spicy jambalaya...which was a bit too spicy for me. This was the first time I had ever tried gumbo, and it reminded me of the bowl Bess gets to eat in Legend of the Crystal Skull. However, instead of shrimp, I had sausage in it. I count this as a Nancy Drew moment in real life: getting to try delicious gumbo!

I bet that was fun(: One of the things I want to do is stay in a huge castle, and chase a monster, at night, outside, by myself. hahaha:D "just kidding".
Mmmmmmm, gumbo! Just what I need on sleepless night >_< ;) It really sounds and looks good... I just realized, ever since I've started following your blog, I've tried sooooooo many different goodies XD oh gosh... I need gumbo now...... *looks up closest gumbo restaurant* lol
Mmmmmmm.... gumbo!!! I had a bowl of it once and it was awesome.(: (I could go for a bowl of it right now :P) I just finished secret of the old clock... one of my favorites(: But this was an achievement for me because it took me not that long,( I started yesterday afternoon and finished this morning) I did have to go on the message boards that much, AND I didn't have to ask anyone to play with me in the scary parts. :P Oh, I have one question. Is the song on Emily's record from CUR? the one about Brigitte? Cuz I was looking at the credits and it said something about "Brigitte's theme".
