This morning, someone in the office sent around an interesting video. It's an interesting clip from the Today Show, broadcast sometime in 1990. (Yup, that's a very young Katie Couric co-hosting) The hosts are interviewing two members from a game company called American Laser Games...
If that doesn't sound familiar that's okay, but if you follow HI's history back far enough, you'll run headlong into American Laser Games. It's been a long time since then, and as a company we've certainly headed towards different interests. The industry has changed a lot, and I'm glad that our expertise has changed into creating educational and family oriented experiences (as hinted to in the video.) But it certainly makes me wonder where games will be 20 years from now. ^.~
