I think I know what the actual "deadly device" is. I researched Nikola Tesla, he was very interesting. I think the device might be that super weapon thing he made, like a ray gun I think. Everyone tried stealing the blueprints for it but couldn't because they were in his head.
I'm replaying ASH and i noticed something awsume! in the cubberd/closit in nancy'd room with all the trinkets from the past games, thier's a pyramid! a foreshadowing for TMB!!! didn't catch that before....
